Piet Oudolf is one of my design heros. He is a garden designer that celebrates biodiversity and sustainable all season designs. His work exists all over the world with a favorite notable example being the High Line in New York City. His aesthetic and preference for wild grasses, and perennials really pull at my heart strings. The untamed meadows, often organized in a sculptural way or alongside larger scale topiaries makes for a juxtaposition that is very striking.
