Easy clean beauty at CREDO

I’ve never been one to spend a lot of time on my makeup, but these days, with a newborn, I’m even more excited about any product that’s quick, easy and has several uses. Lip to cheek, tinted balms, multi-sticks ~ it me.

These are a few favs from CREDO BEAUT Y. If you don’t know it, Credo is THE place on the internet to shop for “clean” makeup. Their missions is “to change the way people think about what goes into products, onto your skin, and ends up in the environment.” They have high standards for the brands they carry to live up to. You can read all about it here. I’ve been a fan since they opened in San Francisco, and now I order online. My favorite makeup brands: Ilia, Kjaer Weis, RMS, Tata Harper and skincare: OSEA, Wonder Valley are all there.

To add some flush, that fresh-from-the-outdoors “life force” (as I like to call it), I blend in some Ilia Multi-stick at the top of my forehead and the bridge of my nose out towards the top of my cheeks. I think about where the sun would naturally land on my face and add the color there.

MULTI-USE

Truthfully, more often than not, I’m moving quickly and just put on a swipe of lip balm – but not just any balm. Tinted lip balm! It’s so simple and forgiving and you don’t need a mirror to apply. And even though they are usually pretty sheer, I will use my fingers to transfer some of the color to my cheeks as well.
